FAQ

Questions buyers ask before the first order

Short answers on how we source, what we check, and what you receive.

What does Biondi International do?

Biondi International is a Korean sourcing and export company based in Busan, Republic of Korea. We buy from Korean manufacturers on behalf of overseas buyers and handle the export side: supplier verification, pre-shipment inspection, export documentation and shipping to the buyer's port.

Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

We are a trading company. We do not own a factory and we do not hold stock. We source from Korean manufacturers for each order, which means the maker is chosen for what you asked for rather than for what happens to be in a warehouse.

What products can you source from Korea?

The category is open. We work from a specification, so the list is not fixed. Most of our work so far sits in five lines: bedding and home textiles, baby and infant products, beauty and cosmetics, food and beverage, and stationery and supplies. Send a specification and target price for anything else and we look for the maker.

Can you ship to my country?

Yes. We prepare the export documents and book the freight, so the destination is open. Tell us the destination market with your inquiry and we check the paperwork that market asks for before we quote.

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ is set by the manufacturer, not by us, and it moves with order size. We send a photo list of the items first; once you pick items, the MOQ, lead time and pricing for those items follow in a written quotation.

How do you verify a Korean supplier?

We contact the manufacturer directly before you are asked to commit to anything, and report what we found: production capacity, the certifications they hold, and anything that looked off. We approach makers as a Korean company, in Korean, which is why export inquiries that usually sit unanswered get a reply.

Do you inspect goods before shipment?

Yes. Goods are inspected in Korea before they load, and photos and video are sent to you while the goods can still be rejected or reworked. Nothing goes into production before you approve the order.

Which Incoterms do you work with?

EXW, FOB or CIF, whichever your side works with. Booking runs through to your port, and goods from several manufacturers can be consolidated into one shipment where that saves freight.

Can you produce under our own brand?

Where the manufacturer supports it, yes. Packaging and labeling can run under your brand, and sample rounds and specification changes happen before the main order. Claims that a product cannot legally carry in your market are flagged while the label is still a draft.

How long does an order take?

Lead time depends on the manufacturer and the category, so it is confirmed in the written quotation rather than estimated in advance. What is fixed is the first response: within 24 hours of your inquiry, and within 48 hours for everything after that, on Korean business days.

Who will I be dealing with?

One person handles your account from the first email through delivery. The person who answers your first email prepares your quotation and sends your shipping documents. The rest of the team sees the same records, so an order does not stall waiting for one person. Working languages are English and Korean.

Do you help overseas brands sell in Korea?

Yes. For overseas brands entering the Korean market we act as a Korean distribution partner and supply domestic sellers. We run accounts on the major Korean channels ourselves, including Naver, Coupang, Kakao, 11st, Gmarket, SSG, Kurly, Olive Young and the department store and home shopping channels.

How do I start?

Send four things: product type, quantity, target price and destination market. That is enough for a first answer, which arrives within 24 hours. Write to info@biondiintl.com or use the form on the contact page.
